Understanding how a YourFlex HRA benefit works

A YourFlex Health Reimbursement Plan allows employees toYourFlex health be paid or reimbursed for certain qualified medical expenses they or their family members incur.

An employer-sponsored plan, YourFlex HRAs are added where companies seek to offset health plan deductibles, providing a real benefit. This employee benefit is funded 100 percent by the employer. Employees do not contribute.

Not every enterprise offers an HRA benefit and not every HRA is the same. Benefit Solutions will help you understand:

• Which qualified medical expenses should be reimbursed,

• How much should be reimbursed and when, and

• When any remaining funds should roll over from year to year.

Benefit Solutions’ administration of your company’s YourFlex HRA includes:

• Outlining the specific benefits and rules of your firm’s HRA to your employees.

• Processing reimbursement forms from employees each week. (Claims received by 5 p.m. EST Tuesday are mailed by Friday or deposited into the employees' bank account by Friday morning.) Claims can be filed by mail, fax or emailed.

• Maintaining separate accounts for each employee with 24/7 access to balance information and reimbursement forms via the web. 

• Training and literature for employees led by a CPA with years of employee benefit experience.

• Coordinating the HRA plan with other programs, including direct deposit to your employees' personal bank account if they desire.
